Description
I call these church mice because I make them from pine reclaimed from old church pews. I think it is the variety known as pitch pine. The wood is nice to turn, being of excellent quality, dense, with prominent grain and not too much resin content. It still has a strong pine scent when I cut it. It is not easy to find such timber these days, other than by reclamation. These wooden church mice have reclaimed leather ears and tail, and are about 6 cm long, not including their tails. They are one of my most popular items and I have written a blog post about making these wooden mice. People say they are very cute. They make nice little gifts. The price is for one fat little mouse.

Hi, I recently purchased four of your church mice for my wife, for Christmas. Just want to say, she absolutely loves them, they are the cutest thing she has ever had, she said.
So thank you very much and have a Happy New Year.
