Purple mouse made of reclaimed purpleheart timber

Description

These purple mice are made of a hard, dense timber called purpleheart and are approximately 6 cm long. When first cut the wood is brown, but over the course of a few days it develops a natural very deep red-purple colour. I was lucky to find an old table top made of purpleheart, from which I reclaimed enough to make these mice.
