Small spalted laburnum bowl with natural rim, 11 cm

Description

This little bowl is made of laburnum. This timber has a richly coloured heartwood with pale sapwood. The sapwood had been affected by fungi, which created a network of dark lines. The rim consists of the natural surface beneath the bark.
