Description
This striking little bowl is one of a series that I turned using plumwood from a Hampstead tree that fell in a storm, crushing a parked car as it did so. The freshly cut wood has vivid red/purple streaks, though it may mature to a rich red/brown. It has an area of pale sapwood.
