Description
This little bowl is made from the wood of a big plum tree that fell in a storm some months ago. When it came down it crushed a parked car. Bad luck for the owner, but good luck for me! The wood has a beautiful colour, purple/red when freshly cut, though it is now a rich red/brown, with pale sapwood. It has a small natural fissure, and is 16 cm in diameter.
