I turned this little bowl from a freshly fallen plum tree. The tree came down during a storm in early 2020. Just 13 cm across, the bowl was perfectly round when it came off the lathe, but as it dried it warped and became a bit lopsided. The heartwood is a rich red-brown in colour. Unlike many of my green turned bowls, I gave this one a smoothly polished surface, leaving surface texture only on the rim.
