Description
This striking bowl is one of a series that I turned using plumwood from a Hampstead tree that fell in a storm, crushing a parked car as it did so. It has a rich colour, with a flash of pale sapwood at the rim. The tree had been attacked by fungus, which left numerous small soft patches. I filled these with decorative metal inlay.
