Description
Leylandii is notorious as a fast-growing tree that can reach a large size and can cause disputes between neighbours. I got a small log from a tree surgeon and turned this small bowl from it. I had not turned this timber before, and was surprised how nicely it turned out. The bowl has some small knots at the rim, and some ripple figure. I gave it a slight outward curve at the rim, and a ring foot.
