Description
This large shallow bowl would be great as a table centrepiece. It would hold a lot of fruit. The tree it came from had been colonised by fungi while the timber was still wet with sap. The fungi coloured the wood. The log also had a lot of ripple figure in the grain, prominent in this bowl. I left the bowl thicker than usual, so it has some weight to it. A striking piece.
