Large fruit bowl in spalted sycamore, 35 cm

Description

This large, shallow bowl is one of a number that I turned from the wood of a big old sycamore. The tree had rippled grain, and had been invaded by spalting fungi. The fungi coloured the wood and created wandering dark lines.
