Description
This little bowl is one of a series that I turned from the wood of a garden oak. Freshly felled, the timber was full of sap. I gave the bowl a small bead and a raised pedestal foot. As the wood dried after turning it warped considerably, leaving the bowl with a leathery surface and a wavy rim. There is a small bark inclusion at the rim.
