Description
This little bowl is made from burr Robinia, which is also known as acacia. Burr timber has a mass of complicated grain. I got the wood from a tree surgeon many years ago. I came across this piece waiting in my wood pile. This bowl has some small natural fissures, and there is a gap at the rim where there was an unattached bark inclusion. The wood has a rich colour. A nice decorative bowl.
