Bark rim mulberry bowl, 14 cm

Description

I turned this small bowl from a mulberry log. I retained the bark, so the rim of the bowl consists of the natural surface of the tree. I love turning mulberry – it has a great colour, is not too hard, and finishes well. This bowl has a wide band of pale sapwood above the yellow-brown heartwood.
