Description
This small bowl has some ripple figure in the grain. Ripple forms when the timber is under stress, for example where it bears the weight of a large side branch. It also had some holes and tracks made by boring insects. I filled them with crushed turquoise inlay, a hard mineral. The small flashes of bright blue add interest.
