A wooden bowl from my workshop would make a great gift. If you are looking for something for a wedding or birthday, you’ll find it here. Whatever you choose, it’s guaranteed to please!
I work with some of the most beautiful English hardwoods, all sustainably sourced. Almost all is material that would otherwise be lost. The best timber for making wooden bowls for sale often comes from trees that have fallen naturally in the woods or at the roadside. I also use reclaimed timber for some of my work.
Delivery is normally by first class post and charged at a flat rate of £4.50 for each order, so you save when buying two or more items together. I re-use packaging when possible, and usually send orders on the next working day. If you need guaranteed next day delivery you can select this option. Occasionally circumstances might prevent orders being sent straight away, but you can contact me to confirm the dispatch date if you wish.
I’m happy to consider commissions for turned work. If you have a project in mind, please email me with details of what you need.
Woodturning classes
With many years’ experience, I offer one-to-one woodturning classes in London, working either with a single student or a class of two. If required, I can send you a gift voucher to present to someone. Complete beginners can try woodturning for themselves and make their own beautiful wooden bowl to take home. This could be just the gift idea you are looking for.
My classes are suitable for people who want to try woodturning, perhaps before getting deeper into it, turners who want to improve their skills and woodworkers who want to add turning to their repertoire. Also for anyone who just wants to spend some time having fun and trying something completely new!
